A Touch of Autumn

Two fallen leaves of the Japanese cherry tree floating on the water. Slightly blushing when they touch each other.

Inspiration

It may be because I am getting older, but nowadays autumn seems to bring more feelings of love and affection than summer.

The cold, windy and shortening rainy days in the Netherlands make you long for warmth. Yet it is no more a longing for the sweltering heat of summer, but rather the Indian summer and the comfortable warmth of home with fall’s bronzed colors.

Realisation

The work is a vector illustration. It is a composition made of several vectorized photo shots.
